Ephesus (Ephesos, Ephese) is an old Roman city, build in 4. century a.c., located at ”Iyoni”, coast of ”Egee” sea, which is part of Mediterranean, mellem Balkan and Anatoli. The remained ruins of the city is located at west today Turkey, 45 min. from Kusadaci, half an hour from Izmir. It’s been said that the city was famous because of Artemis Temple which is been burned later on. According to Islamic legends, the cave of The Companions of The Cave (The Seven Sleepers) was located in this city…

Solitaries in solitude

After 21 years, when I visitet Iran in 2001, almost everything was different: cities, people, the language, every thing was changed, quite new to me:...
But the most strange change was faces covered by sorrow … everybody was moving slow, anxious and unsatisfied … one of the new phenomenon was young people sitting here and there, alone, sad, deeply concentrated on …what! Their future maybe!
I got almost 500 pictures from people of different cities, mostly the young generation, who were wandering in parks or streets, sitting in a corner…solitaries in solitude
